Young male Country singers include 1. Kane Brown 2. Morgan Wallen 3. Marcus King, and seven more. The singers on this list are all under 30.

Country music is a well-traversed genre for male artists, but for the longest time, the charts have been ruled by the giants of the genre like Blake Shelton and Keith Urban, who debuted decades ago.

However, in recent years, there has been a surge of young talent who are changing the game.

1. Kane Brown

Kane Brown is a 29-year-old American Country singer. Brown was born on October 21, 1993, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Brown is known for being a Country-pop artist as his music mixes the classic tropes of the genre with a more pop flair. The way he's mixed the two has proved very popular, gaining him worldwide fame, and a bevy of supporters as evident in his over 11.8 million Spotify listeners.

The singer is different from the clean-cut image of the average Country singer as his mother, Tabatha, is caucasian while his father is part African-American and part Cherokee, a Native American tribe.

According to an interview with People magazine, his heritage caused him a lot of confusion when he was younger because, as his father had been incarcerated since 1996, he was raised by his mother and thought he was the same as her.

Brown's childhood was rough, and he was also homeless at times as he constantly moved from Rossville to Fort Oglethorpe to LaFayette, until his family finally settled in Red Bank, Tennessee. Soon enough, the singer started showing an interest in music, specifically R&B, and aside from singing in the choir, even auditioned for American Idol and The X Factor.

The singer started his career in 2014 as he started posting covers of songs by various artists like Brantley Gilbert, Alan Jackson, Lee Brice, and more.

The success of these covers led to him releasing his debut EP, Closer, in 2015, and since then, the singer has gained massive popularity and released three successful albums in 2016, 2018, and 2022.

2. Morgan Wallen

The 29-year-old Morgan Wallen was born on May 13, 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee.

Known for his various controversies, bad-boy persona, and undeniable success, Wallen is the only Country artist in history to have an album spend over seven weeks atop the Billboard 200 with his sophomore album, Dangerous: The Double Album.

The singer's success is reflected on Spotify where he has over 20 million listeners.

The singer was born to Tommy and Lesli Wallen, a pastor and a school teacher respectively, who made sure to foster their son's musical talents as Wallen took both piano and violin lessons throughout childhood.

However, during his teenage years, the boy would gravitate toward rock bands like Nickelback and Breaking Benjamin, alongside rappers like Lil Wayne.

William Michael Morgan is a County singer-songwriter from Vicksburg, Mississippi. Morgan is 29 years old and was born on May 13, 1993.

The singer is best known for his arresting figure and outfit which consists of a dress shirt and blue jeans with a black cowboy hat. The look is reminiscent of the 80s and 90s country stars like Kenney Chesney and Garth Brooks, who sported a similar style and aesthetic.

Similarly, the singer's music is also reminiscent of that era as his topics revolve around women, relationships, alcohol, and other Country stereotypes. That approach has proven successful as the singer has well over 140K monthly listeners on his Spotify despite not releasing an album since 2016.

However, most people remember the singer for his Gold-certified debut single I Met a Girl that he released back on August 24, 2015. The song was a smash hit on the Country charts in both the United States and Canada and charted at number 8 on the former, and number 19 on the latter, and even managed to peak at number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The singer followed the single up with a self-titled EP on March 18, 2016, and then off the back of that, released his debut album, Vinyl on September 30, 2016.

Unfortunately, neither the EP nor the album could replicate the initial success of the single, and Morgan has not released any album or record since then and has only been releasing non-album singles, though not one of them has charted either on the Country charts or the Hot 100.

The local fame was short-lived as McCreery was working as a bagger at Lowes Food when he decided to audition for the tenth season of American Idol, for which he made his way to Milwaukee at the young age of 16. McCreery quickly made his way up the ranks by singing various country and gospel numbers and dueled against fellow future Country singer Laren Alaina, who was also 16 at the time.

McCreery ended up winning and became the youngest male winner in the history of American Idol. Since then, the singer has embarked on a successful music career starting with his debut album, Clear as Day, in 2011, up till the release of his most recent album, Same truck in 2021.

Payton Smith is a 23-year-old Country singer-songwriter. Smith was born on January 26, 2000, in Beaumont, Texas.

Though born in Texas, Smith was raised in Houma, Louisiana, near New Orleans. The close distance to the iconic city is one of the reasons cited by the singer for his interest in and passion for Country and Southern music, alongside his mother's love for 90s Country, and Keith Urban.

In fact, the Australian singer was a huge influence on young Smith, who stated that he knew he wanted to be a musician in the genre when he saw Urban perform at the CMA Awrsd when Smith was only five years old. The boy begged his family to buy him a guitar, which they did when he was 10, and he spent the next four years learning the instrument.

The four years definitely helped as when his family took a trip to Nashville when he was 14, Smith decided to play at an open mic night at the famous Bluebird Cafe. Sadly, the location was closed, but the singer decided to showcase his talents by playing an impromptu set at the lobby of the hotel his family was staying at, and through sheer luck, happened to be heard by a session musician who introduced Smith to Buddy Cannon, a famous career.

Smith moved to Nashville soon after finishing high school, and through Cannon, started working with songwriters Jim McCormick, Ronnie Bowman, and more, making more than 500 songs, ultimately signing a publishing deal with Eclipse Music at the age of 17.

Since then, he has also signed with Big Machine Label Group, and most recently his debut self-titled EP on October 4, 2019.

Zimmerman followed up the success of his singles with his debut EP, Leave the Light on, released on October 14, 2022. The EP would peak at number 2 on the Country charts and even enter the top 10 at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Laine Hardy is a Country singer and an American Idol winner. Hardy was born on September 12, 2000, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Though born in Baton Rouge, Hardy was raised in Livingston by Barry, a construction contractor, and Cindy Lou, a real estate agent. The young boy is the middle child between his brother Kyle and older sister Brittany Banta.

Hardy has some Korean heritage as his maternal grandfather is a Korean immigrant from the capital of South Korea, Seoul. The singer was interested in music from a young age and even started learning how to play the guitar when he was eight years old, and by age 14, was already performing in a band called the Band Hardy with his brother, though he didn't sing.

Encouraged by his brother, Hardy started singing more, and even developed a passion for it, leading him to audition for the sixteenth season of American Idol. However, his first foray into the reality television show would not prove successful as the singer only got to the Top 50 before being eliminated.

Hardy would fare much better, but initially did not want to audition, only going there to accompany his friend, Ashton Gill. In a heartwarming turn of events, the judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Riche, and Luke Bryan, encouraged him to audition again, and the young boy did just that, singing "The Weight" by The Band.

This time, the singer would not only make it all the way to the end but even end up winning the competition, beating Alejandro Aranda and Madison VanDenburg, to take the crown.

The singer would end up graduating from the college in May 2014, with an Entertainment Industry Studies degree, though he had already started his music career by that point and had shared the stage with some big Country acts like Colt Ford, and Brantley Gilbert to name a few.

The reason why his career saw a start while he was still in college was in fact due to one of the singer's professors who would routinely send some of Gallaher's music to Sony.

Through the professor, Gallaher ended up with a record deal while still in college and worked with Sony until January 2019, after which he signed with Stone Country records.

The singer officially launched his career on August 11, 2017, when he released a self-titled EP with five songs that tackled common Country themes like love, heartbreak, and America.

Though the EP wouldn't break any records, it brought him a fair amount of following which would eventually lead to his debut album, Country in the House, being released on February 24, 2023.
