Sadly, with the passing of Russell Tyrone Jones (ODB) in 2004, the group now is 9-members strong. Hailing from New York City, they popularized the East Coast hip-hop scene during the early 1990s and then the genre throughout the country.

The album instantly became a huge critical and commercial success, reaching number 41 on Billboard 200. It has sold over 3 million copies in the US to date and has received triple Platinum certification.

Wu-Tang Forever

The sophomore studio album Wu-Tang Forever was released on June 3, 1997, through Loud and RCA Records.

Boasting a top Billboard 200 appearance and 4x Platinum certification from the RIAA, Wu-Tang Forever eventually earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards.
