Tyson Venegas Parents are Iris Samson and Paul Anthony Venegas. His parents are quite supportive of his career in music.

They have traveled around the world to support his passion. His father Paul was a fan of R&B and rock and roll and shared his passion with his son

He introduced Tyson to artists like Micahel Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and The Beatles. Iris too is quite proud of her son.

Because of his father's eclectic taste, the young singer is quite open-minded and experimental in terms of his musical career. Tyson has dabbled into multiple genres of music including Country, jazz, and R&B.

The young idol's mother also lived in the country for the last 20 years. She is part Filipino but speaks very little Filipino.

Despite that trouble, she went to the Philippines and supported her son in the reality show. Venegas has become quite popular among the Filipino, Canadian, and American communities.

He has become a young heartthrob by singing the song from Burno Mars "It Will Rain" in his top 26 competition in Hawaii. 

In his initial Idol Journey, the singer nabbed the American Idol's platinum ticket through his cover of "New York State of Mind" by Alicia Keys.

Ty again wowed the audience with his original song "180," he also played piano while singing the song. The artist made it to the top 12 after playing his song.

Tyson Venegas is a Canadian. He holds Canadian citizenship and will become an adult citizen of the country by August 31, 2023. 

The singer's ancestry is Filipino. It comes from both his mother and father who are also from the Philippines.

However, they have been living in Canada for the past two decades. Venegas represents British Columbia.

He is proud of his hometown. Originally, he started his musical career in the B.C.'s open mike talent shows. 

Ty's relatives still live in the Philippines, he also has a great relationship with his cousin Celine, Yasmeen, and his sister Kate.

The 17-year-old singer has a sister and a brother. His youngest sister is studying at middle school while his brother is in high school.
