When Is Tyler The Creator Releasing A New Album? The deluxe of his 2021 album Call Me If You Get Lost called The Estate Sale was released on March 31, 2023.

The creator's deluxe edition is one of his chart-topping and 2021 Grammy-winning project. The project was also recently the first album to reach the top 1 on the Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums chart in three different calendar years 2021, 2022, and 2023.

However, fans are wondering, since The Estate Sale was a deluxe album if Tyler will release a new project this year or not. The rapper is known for having a tight schedule of releasing an album every two years.

Thus, there are two camps among his fans: one believes that The Estate Sale is the only album that will release this year, and another, who are hoping that a new album will surface sometime before the year is over.

When is Tyler The Creator is Dropping A New Album?

Tyler, the Creator dropped his new album back in March. However, rather than a proper album, it is a deluxe edition.

This deluxe edition, called The Estate Sale, adds 8 new tracks to his 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost.

These 8 tracks are supposed to be songs made for the album that didn't fit the narrative. The rapper has also said a few words for his new album below:

The album has become Tyler's one of the biggest successes so far. Despite being a deluxe edition, it still managed to become a commercial and critical success.

Tyler released a music video for one of the bonus tracks, Dogtooth, to announce the release of the new album:

Tyler releases a new album every two years. He has done so since the beginning of his career.

Tyler has released six studio albums so far. However, his true debut project was with Bastard, a mixtape he released on December 25, 2009.

Goblin was his debut album released on May 10, 2011. This record brought him to the limelight, albeit contentiously, due to its horrorcore characteristics and controversial lyrics.

On April 2, 2013, the rapper released his second album, Wolf, which was a more expansive sound that showcased a lot of growth, if only sonically. However, the lyrics were still juvenile and incendiary.

The rapper then released his third album Cherry Bomb on April 13, 2015. This project was and remains his most maligned, but it still has defenders in its camp.

After the controversy surrounding Cherry Bomb, Tyler wowed critics and audiences with his fourth studio album, Flower Boy, which was released on July 21, 2017. This album showed a more mature and introspective Tyler, which led to the record being nominated for a Grammy, the rapper's first.

Tyler continued on this upward trajectory with Igor, his fifth album released on May 17, 2019. Not only is this considered Tyler's best album by many, but also earned him his first album.

After that he released his sixth album Call Me If You Get Lost on June 25, 2021. This album continued in earning the rapper critical acclaim and won him his second Grammy.

Now, two years later, on March 31, 2023, the artist released the deluxe version of the album Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale. However, fans believe a true seventh album, assumed to be called Welcome To The Disco, will pop up this year.

Tyler The Creator New Album in 2023 is the Deluxe Edition of Call Me If You Get Lost called The Estate Sale. However, fans believe it is not a true new album.

This is because the rapper is known to release a new album every two years. Since The Estate Sale is a deluxe edition, not many believe it counts.

As stated above, the working theory among fans is that Tyler will release a new album called Welcome to the Disco sometime this year. However, the artist himself has not hinted at or alluded to a new album drop, so its all fan conjecture at this point.

As with the official album, the songs here still feature DJ Drama's narration, and much of the subject matter matches with the story Tyler was telling on CMIYGL. There are allusions to the infidelity and love triangles that make up the original album.

However, the crown jewel of this deluxe drop has to be the last track, Sorry Not Sorry, which has become even more popular for its music video. In the video, a shirtless Tyler the Creator moves across a stage and violently slays his personas from his previous albums.

In fact, one of the main reasons why people believe a new album is coming is precisely due to how Tyler is "wiping the slate clean" and opening up new possibilities by ending his old personas.
