1. Visit the Liberty Bell
The Liberty Bell, originally known as the State House Bell, is an iconic symbol of American independence. It was ordered in 1751 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pennsylvania's original Constitution and was cast in London, England.
It bears a timeless message from Leviticus 25:10: "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants Thereof."
The bell, made of 70% copper and 25% tin, also contains small amounts of other metals. It has a rich history, including being hidden during the American Revolution and becoming a symbol for the abolitionist movement.
