1. Walk Around The Fort Frederica National Monument
The Fort was central in the Battle of Bloody Marsh in 1742 where the British triumphed over the Spanish. The monument occupies 284 acres with archeological facilities of the fort and the town around it.
On the site, one is free to check out remains of the barracks, houses' foundations, and the King's Magazine. The site features a display of artifacts and there is a visitor center to provide information.
