Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania's Old Jail Museum is a historic site with a rich and mysterious past. Built in 1871, it is most commonly known for its association with the Molly Maguires—Irish coal miners accused of murder and other crimes during the 19th century.
Visitors can explore the preserved cell blocks, warden’s quarters, and infamous ‘Hanging Room’ that witnessed the execution of seven Molly Maguires.
