8:00am to 8:15am - Hotel pick-up time. Transfer you to Catalina Express, Long Beach Landing Check in at the ticket counter for your boarding passes 9:50am - boat departs for Catalina Island, Avalon 11:00am - Arrive Avalon, Catalina Island. Zipline - between 11:45am and 1:00pm Zipline start time. Total tour duration is inclusive of hotel pickup and drop-off, round-trip ferry ride and Zipline Eco Tour. 3:55pm - boat departs Avalon (6:30pm departure option, summer season only. After a safety briefing, strap in and get ready for an exciting adventure! Beginning at the Hog's Back gate high in the hills near Avalon, you’ll travel on five consecutive ziplines at heights of 300 feet (91 meters) above the Descanso Canyon floor. Feel your adrenaline rush as you reach speeds of up to 45 mph (72 kph)! Pause at several eco-stations along the way for interesting and informative presentations by your guide on some of the unique and interesting aspects of the island. Learn about the early Native American settlers and about how plants and animals arrived on the island. Did you know that Catalina is home to at least fifty endemic species that occur naturally on the island and nowhere else in the world?
