- The morning tour (6:30 AM or 7:00 AM) is our most recommended tour due to calmer ocean conditions and more wildlife sightings.
- Raft tours will include seeing and possibly entering sea caves and snorkeling, but only if the ocean conditions are safe enough to do so. Your tour’s Captain will make this decision. (We do not snorkel in the sea caves.)
- We recommend booking early in your vacation in case of a weather cancellation, you have more time left in your vacation to rebook.
- Our tour departs from the west side of Kauai— We meet in Waimea at the Na Pali Riders office.
- By booking this tour you understand and agree to the following: Access to sea caves is conditions permitting which is at the discretion of the captain. If the inside of a cave looks like a washing machine, we will not risk the safety of the passengers or vessel to enter the cave. Snorkeling and swimming is conditions permitting at the discretion of the captain. If the snorkel location has poor visibility, surf or a strong current the captain will attempt to find a safe location away from the poor conditions for a deep water swim.
- When ocean conditions are not favorable for a Na Pali Coast tour or the minimum passenger count for the safety and stability of our vessel is not met, you will be offered the following: The option to rebook for a different date and time. The option for a full refund.
- WARNING: The Zodiac© raft makes for a wild and rough ride. Due to the nature of the Nā Pali Ocean Raft Tour, you must be in good physical condition to attend this tour. We cannot accommodate pregnant women, anyone with back or neck problems, medical conditions or recent surgeries.

Your Nā Pali Ocean Raft Tour begins on our 30-foot Zodiac© raft. We take you to Kauai’s remote Nā Pali Coast for an unforgettable adventure! Be ready for excitement as you encounter playful pods of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins and Bottlenose dolphins. From Dec-April, you might see Hawaiian Humpback whales. The tour continues past miles of sandy beaches to the stunning cliffs of Nā Pali Coast. Enjoy incredible scenery with magnificent beaches, towering cliffs, verdant valleys, waterfalls, and sea caves (conditions permitting). The narrated tour is filled with history and lore. Snorkeling in a pristine bay with amazing underwater life is included if conditions permit. Light snacks and beverages are served. WARNING: The Zodiac© raft makes for a wild, fast, and rough ride. Due to the nature of the Nā Pali Raft & Snorkel Adventure, you must be ready to experience ADVENTURE ON THE SEA! You must be in good physical condition to attend. We cannot accommodate pregnant women, anyone with back or neck problems, medical conditions, or recent surgeries.
