The Ferry requires airport-level security, so be prepared for a long wait. Allow at least 2h to visit one island and 4h to visit Ellis & Liberty islands. Your pass provides you access to the island only. Pedestal & crown access requires reservations and is not included with your pass. When does my pass expire? You have 2 years from purchase to activate your pass or it will expire. Visiting your first attraction activates your pass. Then, you have 60 days to use it.     The Beast Speedboat Ride | Climb aboard The Beast for a rip-roaring ride down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour! This high-energy boat ride is powered by twin jet engines, so expect twists, turns, thrills – and splashes – galore. As you approach Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, there will be an opportunity for photos, as well as panoramic views of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, before the engines roar and you speed back across the water to Manhattan, and terra firma.
