Itinerary

  • Estimated Time : 240 minutes

Salt River : Meet us at our Salt River satellite location on the Fort Apache Reservation between Globe and Show Low, AZ. Once there, you'll sign waivers and suit up for the river! If you're rafting with us in March or April, you'll probably have a wetsuit included with your reservation. After suiting up, you’ll walk down to the river with your guides, have a safety orientation, and hop in the boats and go! Be ready to tackle 10 miles of whitewater in just 3 hours. Throughout the trip you can expect constant class II and III rapids. Class II rapids are “fun and friendly” rolling over the bow and splashing the folks in the front of the boat. Class III rapids are “wet and fun” soaking everyone head to toe. The biggest rapid is right by the take out, offering up a grand finale before you paddle over to the beach for the trip’s end. We’ll then shuttle you back to your vehicle along Apache Road 1, which is often just as exciting as the rafting trip itself!
