Shared tours available only on Thursdays, private tours available Mon-Sat. We will take you on a journey to enjoy the highlights of Kauai. Marvel at the power of nature as we share with you legends, history, culture and the geology of our islands. A day filled with many leisure stops, and opportunities to eat and shop local. Included on this tour are several stops at the famous Waimea Canyon, Wailua Falls, the Spouting Horn, and the black sand beach where Captain Cook first landed in Hawaii. Take the day off from driving and let us show you Kauai through local eyes.

- No refunds pass the 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.
- In consideration for on time guests and our after hours duties we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
- We can drop off guest at the cruise port at 3:30pm, and the airport.

Wailua Falls : We will take a scenic drive on our way to the beautiful set of twin falls where in ancient times man jumped off of the top to proof their bravery. Also the iconic opening scene of the famous TV show "Fantasy Island"

It is time to delve into Hawaii's culinary culture. We will visit Kauai Bakery for a mid-morning snack. You will get to try our legendary malasadas, AKA Portuguese donuts filled with various flavors. Other pastries and coffee will be available.

Waimea Canyon : Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems, known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 3 stops, including the main lookout at 3400 feet elevation. You will see the Canyon from various angles and also the Forbidden island of Niihau from afar. Many stories will be shared and fabulous pictures taken. Majestic beauty at its finest!

Around 12:00 pm we will head to the beautiful grounds of the Waimea Plantation Cottages built in the early 1900's during the sugar plantation days. Overlooking at the blue Pacific Ocean and many tropical trees, we will enjoy delicious lunch at famous Chicken in a Barrel. Have a beer while you are at it! they have a beer wall with over 10 selections or a cocktail; after all you are not driving. We will take a leisure stroll through the property to visit Waimea Bay, one of our few black sand beaches, and Captain Cook's first landing place in Hawaii.

Spouting Horn : A drive through the beautiful tunnel of trees will lead us to our first stop at the famous Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water geyser. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and water rushes through the tube. Your guide will share the legend of the site, sound effects and all.
