1D went on this tour to promote and support their fourth studio album, Four.

Band member Zayn left the band after a month into the tour, and only four remained; Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne.

The four continued throughout the tour and traveled through all seven continents, marking their first-ever tour to do so. On The Road Again tour generated $207 million at the end.

One Direction then released their fifth album, Made in the A.M., after a month after their tour's conclusion. And then the band went on an indefinite hiatus, per US Magazine.

One Direction First Concert

One Direction's first concert after their album debut was held on December 18, 2011. It was held at Watford Colosseum in Watford, England.

The concert was a part of their first tour, Up All Night, also named after their debut studio album.

Niall Horan, in September 2017 (after 1D's split), revealed that their first-ever concert did not go well, per the band's rehearsal.

In an interview with BBC, the singer-guitarist confirmed that the gig remains his worst night ever and the worst One Direction show ever.

All of the band members refused to talk about the first concert but got back with a bang-on performance on their second concert.

Horan further explained that since it was their first chance to headline a tour and concert, things could have fallen out of place. However, the show ended as a four-star night as critics praised the five's vocal talents.

In addition to the hit show, it also gave music videos for the band. As the album's standard version includes 13 songs, some music videos include live footage from their tour.

Hence, the song, More Than This, was shot out of their live performance during their debut world tour.
