Meet 20 Popular Groups With 5 Or More Members

( Source : twitter )

The 5 member band format has become hugely popular since the '60s. Particularly, bands that started as quartets have gone on to become quintets in later years.

The common lineup in a 5 piece rock band consists of a vocalist, bassist, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and drums.

Two guitarists may share rhythm guitar and lead guitar parts or either one member may play lead guitar and other rhythm guitar.

However many bands have started to add other exclusive members to play different instruments like keyboard, saxophone, harmonica, flute, and many more.

Sometimes a classic four-piece scheme or 5 member format just isn't enough for bands, so a lot of musicians decide to extend their lineups.

Further, this strengthens or adds value to the sound of the band. With reference to that, this article assembles a list of 20 Groups With 5 Or More Members.
