Besides watching CMA Awards 2023 live on ABC TV, Hulu will also stream the event. ABC and Hulu are the only certified broadcasters of CMA.

It will be the 17th year of the television partnership between the award ceremony and ABC Network. Meanwhile, this year will be the second time Hulu will stream the show on its platform.

NBC had telecasted CMAs from 1968 to 1971 and had passed on its role to CBS. The next networks televised the big event on its screen from 1972 to 2005.

ABC then took responsibility in 2006 and regularly broadcasts the award function. Moreover, the two companies extended their broadcast contract in June 2021.

In 2021, Variety Magazine confirmed that the Country Music Association extended its contract with ABC till 2026.

The 2023 CMA Awards is set to take place on November 8 this year. Last year, it was held on November 9.

The 57th edition of the prestigious award show will be held on the second Wednesday of the month. As per the routine since 2017, the association has opted to hold the big day on the second Wednesday of November every year.

Before the 2017 edition, CMA Awards nights were usually held on the first Wednesday of November. The association decided to do so to avoid competition in viewers as one of the seven Major League Baseball's World Series games takes place at that time.

The 2016 World Series games on Fox had beaten CMA Awards in the viewership ratings; hence, the association decided not to take any risk as of the following year.

The CMA Awards 2023 will be held at Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tennessee. It has been held there since 2006.

One exception is the 54th CMA Awards which were held at Music City Center, located in downtown Nashville. The only location change in those 14 years was due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

However, when the world started returning after the global lockdown, the 55th CMAs were held again at the Bridgestone Arena. The same with this year too.

The arena was opened on December 18, 1996, and was last renovated in 2015. It is the home ground of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Regarding CMA's history for its location, the first-ever award night was at Ryman Auditorium. In 1974, the awards moved to the Grand Ole Opry House and became its long-time residence till 2004.

The 2005 CMAs was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Hence, as of the present situation, Bridgestone remains its home.

Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan is a country music singer from Louisiana. Besides singing and songwriting, being a crowd-favorite TV personality is one of his many talents.

While he has been in the industry since 1996 for his musical traits, his first hosting stint was at the 50th annual ACM Awards in 2015. He co-hosted the night with fellow country singer Blake Shelton.

At that big event, he also bagged an ACM Award in the category of Entertainer of the Year. Luke then returned as a host in 2021 at the 55th CMA Awards and bagged the same award.

In 2022, he was paired up with NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and the duo's fun ways of presenting awards have made them return to the stage together this year as well.

Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning is a former National Football League (NFL) quarterback of 18 seasons. He is widely known as "the Sheriff" among football fanatics.

He retired from playing in 2016 and has been actively appearing on screen after that. He then hosted the 2017 ESPY Awards on July 12, 2017.

Manning was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021. Thus, he is now fully dedicated to his media career after his legendary football career.

The 2023 CMA nominations eligibility time was from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. All voting for the awards will be conducted online.

3. The third and final ballot will be emailed to CMA members on October 2. The voting for the CMA Awards final ballot will be held on October 27 till 6 pm.

All the CMA nominations must include performances and events that occurred between June 1st, 2022, and May 31st, 2023. The winners will be announced in early October and honored during the 57th Annual CMA Awards event.

The Country Music Association has yet to share the list of nominees in their award categories. The predictions will follow soon after the list is out.

It will take the upcoming three months for the experienced CMA judge panel to determine the rightful nominees among the hundreds of country music artists.
