As with the previous single, fans and critics had nothing but words of wonder and amazement at Aguilera's voice and some found the sparse arrangement a great choice to let her voice shine. However, many among the latter criticized the backing music for being a bit too formulaic.

Written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan, the production duties were overseen by the famous rapper and soon-to-be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Missy Elliott and Rockwilder.

Given how many views the music video has, it's easy to imagine that it is an opulent affair that showcases each of the four women scantily clad and showing off their beauty.

With an energetic backing track reminiscent of the 1930s and 40s Big Band and Swing era arrangements, it took Aguilera right up to #6 on the Hot 100. The song won her another Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance two years after she had won her last one.

In the final verses of the song, Aguilera joins Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, and the two match their voices perfectly to create a wonderful coda. Many had thought Aguilera's hit making career and ability was over when this song came out, but the songstress gladly proved them all wrong.

Spotify Streams:516,599,470

However, what makes the song especially successful is Aguilera's powerful delivery in the chorus which was and remains one of the most celebrated and memorable moments of the song.
