Black Eyed Peas Hiatus began in 2011. The members of the group mentioned that they shall focus on individual careers from now on.

However, the group reunited in 2015-2018, but they officially announced Fergie's departure during that time.

Before, the hiatus, they had released their fifth studio album titled "The E.N.D" meaning the Energy Never Dies. This album featured at the #1 position on Billboard 200.
