The Band members of ABBA are Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngastad. The group's title is based on each member's first name.

It can be spelled the same from front to back and back to front making it a palindrome.

Hailing from Sweden, ABBA are popular worldwide through hit songs like Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and The Winner Takes It All among others.

Similarly, they are also Sweden's first band to enlist their name in, and win, Eurovision. Their song, Waterloo, was chosen as the best song in the competition.

ABBA band members then and now have not changed. The members are still Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, and Anni-Frid.

However, they have been supported by artists like Lasse Wellander, Rutger Gunnarsson, Janne Schaffer, Ola Burnkert, Anders Eljas, and Malando Gassama. ABBA's other members contributed to different instrumentals, songwriting, and composition of the music.

Agnetha Faltskog joined the band in the 1970s, after accomplishing a successful solo music career. She is one of the best-selling Swedish artists.

After the breakup of the band, the artist released her post-ABBA debut album "Wrap Your Arms Around Yo" which went number one in Sweden.

At present, Agnetha and her team shall participate in their 2023 tour and are promoting their final 2021 album.

Bjorn Ulvaeus

Bjorn Ulvaeus is the popular composer of the band. After releasing multiple hits in the 70s, he tried his hands on film which was successful.

His two movies based on the band's musical "Mamma Mia" were a global success. It also kickstarted the Broadway musical of the same title.

Bjor also joined the group in 2018, they released their reunion album in 2021. They have been performing in multiple cities and venues after the covid-19 pandemic.

Benny Andersson

Benny Andersson met with Bjorn and started working together in 1966. They began recording songs and records with artists like Lasse Berghagen.

After meeting Anni and Agnethan, they decided to form a band with the name "ABBA" from their first name.

Post-breakup, Andersson worked with Bjorn and released "Mamma Mia." The duo also worked on their music releasing songs like "Mio My Mio" and many more.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad

Anni-Frid Lyngstad also known as "Frida" is a singer, songwriter, and environmentalist.

The artist idolized Ella Fitzgerald and started out as a female jazz artist. She was one of the most successful artists after the breakup of the band.

Throughout her solo career, the singer released five studio albums among which "Something's Going On" went gold and her the1975 album "Frida Ensam" went platinum in her home country.

Also, in 2022 the musical group received Grammy nominations for Record of the Year for their single "I Still Have Faith in You" from their last album.

ABBA band members ages are Agnetha (73), Bjorn (78), Benny (76), and Anni-Frid (77). The youngest member is Agnetha.

Agnetha married Bjorn before ABBA's Eurovision win with an age difference of five years. Both of them seem to share a blissful marriage for a decade before their divorce.

Benny and Anni were also married. The couple tied the knot, four years after winning the Eurovision competition. However, their marriage lasted for only three years.

Regardless of the past, the band members were able to get together in 2016 and went on to multiple tours and concerts. They were able to capitalize on their past success. The Swedish band had a large following globally including the U.S.

ABBA Mamma Mia tour in 2023 shall take place globally. It is a musical tour which is based on the song "Mamma Mia".

Their musical journey can be described before the band's breakup and after their reunion. They were the hottest band in the 70s.

Throughout their career the band has released nine albums their works can be divided into two eras.

The band released eight albums before their breakup. Their most popular and purchased album was "Arrival" which topped most of the global charts.

It went eighteen times platinum in Australia and went Gold in the U.S. The biggest hits from the "Arrival" were Money Money Money, Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You, and Fernando.

After the ABBA reunion, the group released their ninth and final studio album "Voyage" on 5th November 2021. The album went platinum in six countries

ABBA's band was able to double up their platinum record in Sweden and Germany. After the reunion, the singers had already told the media that they were working on an album.
