80s Bands Touring In 2023 are 1. Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band 2. Guns N' Roses and others. These tours are for promoting albums as well as celebrations.

The year 2023 has brought new chances for musical groups to reconnect with their fans live. The fans are also excited to see their favorite stars on the stage and cheer for them.

Some have announced new concert tours others have continued their long tours since late last year; whatever it is, going to a concert for a great time overshadows any other reasons.

But it will be more fun for the 80s kids whose bands are touring this year. From the big names Ringo Starr to Metallica, each star group is back.

1. Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band

Ringo Starr And His All Starr Band is one of the top 80s bands on tour in 2023. The group of seven awaits their Fall tour, starting on September 17.

The venue for the first event has been set at Toyota Arena. Meanwhile, this tour will meet its end on October 13 at Lucas Oil Live at WinStar World Casino and Resort.

This will be their second tour this season since this supergroup had already played on their spring tour. They had announced their west coast tour in January this year.

The former concert tour started on May 19 at Pechanga Resort Casino and ended on June 17 at San Jose Civic.

Ringo, best known for his time as the drummer of the Beatles, is ready with his equally talented bandmates for a big time.

2. Guns N' Roses

Guns N' Roses is probably the best 80s rock band on top of enjoying global fandom. Their We're F'N' Back! Tour will meet its end on October 16 this year.

The venue is set at BC Place in Vancouver, and will end after 115 shows. The tour started on July 31, 2021, and played for their fans around North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania.

Out of all, two of their shows on May 21, supposed to take place at Daytona International Speedway and the July 5 show at Glasgow Green were canceled.

Despite so, their fans and guest stars have been supportive all along. Their guest performers were P!nk, Carrie Underwood, Bubbles, Dave Grohl, among others.

3. Metallica

Metallica is another rock band from the 80s who announced their M72 tour this year. The tour is set to last for 48 shows around Europe and North America.

This is their first tour after 2020, and they decided to support their 11th studio album, 72 Seasons. The album was released on April 14 this year, while the time was confirmed 13 days later.

The first show happened at Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on April 27. Meanwhile, the last show has been confirmed to occur at Foro Sol in Mexico City on September 29, 2024.

Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Pantera, and Greta Van Fleet are some of the supporting acts for this musical excursion.

4. Phish

Phish is another band to go on tour in 2023 from the 80s bands list. The band has headlined three outings so far.

The first one was titled Phish Spring Tour 2023, which took place on April 14 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The ending concert happened at Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, on April 23.

After the west coast tour, Phish again headed for a summer tour in July. The big expedition started on July 11 in Huntsville and lasted there till another night.

They traveled for a month and fixed their last concerts on a seven-night run at New City’s Madison Square Garden from July 28 to August 5.

Leaving them behind, the band has already announced the Phish: Riviera Maya music festival dates. It will take place from February 21 to February 24, 2024 at Moon Palace Cancún.

5. New Order

The English rock band New Order, will start their 2023 UK and European tour on September 21. The first show's location is the Royal Arena in Copenhagen.

New Order's official site has confirmed dates till October 7 at Leeds. Confidence Man has been confirmed to be the special guest performer for the shows in London, Dublin, Glasgow, and Leeds.

The band's official Twitter page had confirmed the guest in April. Their previous tour titled The Unity Tour with the Pet Shop Boys in 2022 was quite a big hit.

That tour consisted of 13 dates in the United States and Canada.

6. Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe is one of the 80s hair bands that announced their tour this year. The World Tour commenced on February 10 at Hard Rock Live as a warm-up show.

It will end on November 14 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne after 40 shows. It is scheduled to have five legs around Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

Of all the successful shows, the band only faced two cancellations: one on March 9 at Estádio Couto Pereira. And other in Arena do Grêmio on March 11, both in Brazil.

The reason for the cancellations has been confirmed to be due to production and logistical reasons. Besides them, each of the shows have gone hit.

7. Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode is one of the best 80s rock bands that does electronic music. Thus, they have announced the Memento Mori World Tour for their fans as of 2023.

The first show happened on March 23 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Meanwhile, the last show is bound to take place at Lanxess Arena in Cologne on April 8.

This year-long musical venture is set for four legs around North America and Europe. Likewise, the total shows come down to 112; 45 in North America and 67 in Europe.

For all these many shows, their 1990 song World In My Eyes is made up as a compulsory song in their setlist since it is the late band member Andy Fletcher's favorite song. 

8. Tears for Fears

Tears for Fears went on a North American tour this year. It had a total of 22 shows, where two of them were scheduled in Canada.

Except for the June 29 and 30 shows at Toronto and Montreal, respectively, all the other concerts took place around the U.S.A.

Rolling Stone has shared the pop rock band's entire North American tour dates. The tour was announced in April this year, and the first show was held at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena on June 23.

Meanwhile, their last show was concluded on August 2 at the Hollywood Bowl. The tour was organized to support their latest album, The Turning Point, released in 2022.

9. Culture Club

The new wave band Culture Club is one of the few 80s bands on tour USA. Their 2023 tour show kicked off on July 13 in West Palm Beach.

Their 25-show tour stopped across Atlanta, Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and Austin and wrapped up on August 20 at Concord Pavilion.

10. KISS

KISS has been traveling for their final concert tour since 2019. The End of the Road World Tour will conclude on December 2 at Madison Square Garden this year.

The first show kicked off at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on January 31, 2019. Since this is the last tour by the band, they have extended their date towards 13 legs.

KISS had started their first leg in North America, and their final leg will be the same. Apart from their home country, they have played around Europe, Japan, South America, Australia, and many music festivals.

Yoshiki remains the most notable guest star for this tour all along. The piano player showcased his skills on Beth on December 11 and also gave drums on Rock and Roll All Nite on December 17, 2019.

11. R.E.M.

Michael Stipe from R.E.M. will embark on a 2023 tour by himself in 2023. He was the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band.

While R.E.M. had amicably disbanded in 2011 and showed no signs of reunion, Stipe, the band's genius, has called on a tour titled R.E.M. by Stipe - The Definitive Tribute.

It will kick off on September 26, 2023, at Empire Music Hall in Belfast. Meanwhile, the last concert from the seven confirmed dates is at Horn @ St. Albans on April 13, 2024.

12. The Waterboys

The Waterboys, the famous rock band from the 80s, is back for a 2023 tour. It is set around Spain, the U.K. and Ireland.

This tour has been scheduled to last 20 shows around these places. The first show will start at Caseta De Los Jardinillos in Albacete on September 9, according to Song Kick.

After traveling much, the band will play their last show for this tour at Gleneagle INEC Arena on November 6. The tracks from their 2022 album, All Souls Hill, will be the highlights.

13. Aerosmith

Aerosmith will forever be known for their hard rock music, regardless of era. The Peace Out: The Farewell Tour has been confirmed to be their final one.

The first show will commence at Wells Fargo Center on September 2. The band will then travel around North America for 40 shows. This tour will finally meet its end on January 26, 2024, at Bell Centre in Canada.

This will be the band's 11th tour of their career, and of course, the final one.

14. Loverboy

While The Historic Farewell Tour is not the headlining tour by Loverboy, they are the main attraction this year. This is Foreigner's final concert tour.

The first show kicked off on July 6, 2023, at Atlanta’s Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Meanwhile, the final performance is set for March 13, 2024, at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.

Loverboy will be traveling and performing with them for the entire tour.

15. Skid Row

Skid Row's 2023 North American Tour will play for 40 shows. The first one is set for the House of Blues in Dallas on August 31.
