Amy Winehouse passed away due to accidental alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011, in Camden Town, London, England.
Winehouse was announced dead at the scene itself after the police arrived at her house upon the call of her bodyguard who found her not breathing.
Her intimate funeral held on July 26, 2011, at Edgwarebury Lane Cemetery was attended by her family and friends. Previously, the singer had admitted to using hard drugs including heroin and crack cocaine.
Kurt Cobain
The celebrated American musician Kurt Cobain breathed his last on April 5, 1994. He took his own life with a gunshot to his head.
It wasn't his first attempt at self-destruction. He was rushed to the hospital after getting overdosed on the combination of Rohypnol and champagne. His wife Courtney Love stated this incident was his first attempt.
Courtney called the police to inform them that he had yet again attempted to take his own life by locking himself in a room with a gun on March 18, 1994.
It was on April 8 when an electrician who had arrived to install a security system discovered the singer's body at his Lake Washington Boulevard home.
The reports later pronounced that Cobain passed away on April 5, 1994, and his body had been inside the home for three days.
Jim Morrison
Jim Morrison died of heart failure on July 3, 1971. He was discovered dead in the bathtub of his apartment at approx. 6 a.m.
Several eyewitnesses including Marianne Faithfull claimed that Morrison's breathed his last due to an accidental heroin overdose. That said, the lack of autopsy didn't substantiate their statements.

Kristen Pfaff
The bassist, Kristen Pfaff, died of acute opiate intoxication on September 18, 1970, at St, Mary Abbots Hospital.
A friend with whom she had planned to leave for Minneapolis the same day discovered Pfaff dead in her Seattle apartment by Paul Erickson.
Reportedly, a bag of syringes and drug paraphernalia was found on the floor of the scene. She passed away just two months after Kurt Cobain's death who was her close friend and famous rockstar.
