Where Is People Choice Awards 2022 Held and Who Hosts The Event This Year?

The 2022 People Choice Awards is going to be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

This venue is the largest one in Los Angeles with an area of 35,000 square foot. The hangar is the most versatile location and uniquely suited for large events like Television commercials, gala dinners, events, award shows and more.

The award ceremony will air on NBC and E! at 9:00 p.m., but before that, an exclusive red carpet celebrity interview will be held at 7:00 p.m.

This year's event sponsors include L'Oreal Paris, INFINITI, SeeHer, and Woodford Reserve. The 2022 People's Choice Awards and Live from E! are produced by Den of Thieves with executive producers Evan Prager, Jesse Ignjatovic, and Barb Bialkowski.

After the show, the viewers can get an extra dose of People's Choice Awards hot topics on E! News at 11:00 p.m. with co-hosts Justin Sylvester and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.

This year's award ceremony will be hosted by Kenan Thompson. The SNL host hosted the event previously in 2021.

During an interview, Thompson mentioned that he is excited to host the award show again this year and celebrate the incredible fans and talent that unite the show.

He is also excited about being nominated and has thanked his fans and congratulated the other nominees for the award.

According to Billboard, this year Lauren Spencer Smith will be performing her hit song "Fingers Crossed."

Similarly, Shania Twain will perform her song "Waking Up Dreaming" and a hits medley.

As per E! News reports, actor Ryan Reynolds will receive The People's Icon Award, singer Lizzo will receive The People's Champion Award, and singer-songwriter Shania Twain will receive The Music Icon Award.
