Voices Of America Country Music Festival

VOA Country Music Fest Lineup includes Chris Young, Alabama, Old Dominion, and Dan + Shay. These four artists will headline the event.

Chris Young

Chris is an American country singer, songwriter, and musician from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born on June 12, 1985.

He was a winner of a televised American reality competition Nashville Star in 2006. He later signed record deals with the label RCA Records Nashville.

He released his self-titled debut album Chris Young in 2006, which peaked at #3 and #22 on Billboard Top Country Songs and Billboard Hot 200 respectively.

Alabama

Alabama is an American country band based in Fort Payne, Alabama formed in 1969. The group was founded by a family of cousins and was initially called Wildcountry.

The band saw its breakthrough following the release of its first single Tenessee River through RCA Records. It is the group's first song to top the Billboard Hot Country single chart.

In 2019, Alabama was placed into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and was also awarded the first-ever Life Time Achievement Award.

Old Dominion

Old Dominion is a Nashville-based country band that was formed in 2007. It consists of 5 members with Matthew Ramsey as the frontman.

The band's music is contemporary country paired with elements of rock instrumentals and pop overtones.

Although it originated in 2007, it wasn't until 2015 that the country-pop band released its debut studio album Meet and Candy 2015.

The band was received garnered multiple nominations and won several of them including their first ACM Awards for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year in 2016.

VOA Country Music Fest dates start from the 10th of August to the 13th of August. It is a 3-day festival being held at Voice of America MetroPark.

The inauguration of the festival on August 10 (Thursday) is deemed as a "bonus night" and will feature the likes of artists like Riley Green, Chris Lane, and Kevin McCoy.

The next day on Friday, the cousin trio Alabama will kick off the event followed by artists such as Chase Rice, John Morgan, Seaforth, Austin Snell, and Tyler Branden.

Day three of the event will commence with a performance from Old Dominion and Chris Young followed by Gabby Barrett, Jo Dee Messina, Frank Ray, and Drake Milligan.

Ultimately, the final day of the fest will be initiated by the pop duo Dan + Shay. Then, it will feature Jake Owen, Lainey Wilson, Niko Moon, Ashland Craft, and Tyler Booth.

The festival will also include renowned DJs like Slim McGraw, Jason Cru, and Etrayn who will keep the party going throughout the event.

Voa Country Music Fest Maps 2023 will be held at Voice of American Metro Park in West Chester, Ohio. The town celebrates its bicentennial in 2023.

The MetroPark was previously operated as a VOA Relay Station, which transmitted American radio abroad for half a century from 1944 to 1994.

In an announcement, the president and CEO of Travel Butler County, Mark Hecquet, stated:

The organizers have also partnered with some of the best hotels and suites to offer tourists wonderful accommodations, travel packages ad deals.

As the inaugural fest coincides with the town's bicentennial year, West Chester Township administrator, Larry Burks, made a statement.

VOA Country Music Fest 2023 Tickets come in three different options: GA, VIP, and Super VIP. You'll also have a buy a separate pass for parking.

Once you purchase the tickets, a wristband will be shipped approximately 3-4 weeks before the festival date. However, if you want the festival pass you will kindly need to pick up the bands at Will Call.

One thing to note is that the passes are non-refundable. However, if you sell it to someone, just make sure to email [email protected] to let the organizers know the new recipient of the pass.

What if you want to upgrade your festival pass? Luckily, in order to process an upgrade you will have to purchase the desired festival pass.

Then forward the latest confirmation email and the organizers will refund your original order.
