Participation Lineup For 2023 Tortuga Music Festival

Participation Lineup For 2023 Tortuga Music Festival. Here is all about Tortuga Music Festival Location, Schedule, Ticket Price and more.
The Tortuga is an annual music festival held for three days in April at Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida.
HUKA Entertainment and Rock The Ocean founded the festival. In fact, its full name is Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival.
Since 2013, the festival has been a highlight for tourism in Florida and has made itself stand out in a state known for its music festivals. The festival ran uninterrupted from 2013 until 2019 but had to be canceled in 2020 due to the rising severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thankfully, unlike many other music festivals, Tortuga was brought back just a year and a half later on November 2021 and managed to occur around the usual dates in 2022.
The 2023 festival marks the tenth anniversary of the event, and as such, people are clamoring to know where it is, who's playing, and just what to expect.
Where Is Tortuga Music Festival?
Tortuga music festival location is at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The beach park is in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Fort Lauderdale is a well-known coastal city 30 miles north of Miami. The city is along the Atlantic Ocean and is known for its vibrant seas, sandy beaches, and propensity for music festivals and nightlife.
Not only is it the tenth largest city in Florida, as it has a population of over 6.1 million as of 2019, but the city is viewed second only to Miami by the US Government. The city is often called the Venice of America because of its 165 miles of inland waterways that exist across the city.
Fort Lauderdale is known as a tourism spot, and aside from music festivals, is known for a variety of museums, bars, and nightclubs, the latter two of which have made it a thriving spot for college students and a Spring Break location. The city's arts and entertainment district, also known as the Riverwalk district, is also very popular.
Tortuga Music Festival Address
Tortuga Music festival address is 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The address's zip code is 33316.
The location is along the side of Central Beach, south of Sebastian Street Beach and Las Olas Beach, and between the Fort Lauderdale Park's playground and the B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale. The address is near many hotels, inns, and restaurants, making for a perfect place to find accommodations and food.
There are a variety of ways to get to the location that the Tortuga Festival has outlined on its website. Of course, one can simply drive there, but that might not be possible for many who are flying into the city specifically to watch the show.
One of the most fun ways to make it to the Festival is via a Water Taxi, which is a motorized boat that runs through three stops, the Riverside Hotel, the Hilton Marina, and the Gallery one Double Tree Hotel. People can book their rides for the Water Taxi in advance at the festival's website.
The Festival has also stated that there will be no official parking at the festival and has encouraged people to use rideshares like Uber and Lyft.

What To Wear To Tortuga Music Festival?
Tortuga Music Festival dress code is nonexistent since it is a beach festival. However, there are some trends.
First and foremost, the Tortuga festival is a beach festival, so most, if not all, the people will be in swimwear from bathing shorts for the men to bikinis and such for the women. There is no set dress code in the traditional sense so people usually wear whatever they feel suits them, and is comfortable.
However, since it is a Country music festival, one can find many people wearing clothing and accessories that fit into that genre and the culture around it. For example, many people will be wearing cowboy hats, though not the traditional leather or felt kind, but the sort made from assorted textiles that are more breathable.
People are also known for wearing baseball caps, sunglasses are a must, and floral shirts can also be found all over the place. As the event will be packed with people, it's highly recommended that one takes with them a fanny pack to put all their assorted important accessories and documents.
Tortuga Music Festival Tickets, Prices And Passes

Tortuga Music Festival History
Tortuga Music Festival history begins in April 2013 when the first festival took place. Since then, it has become a Fort Lauderdale custom.
As stated above, the festival was founded by HUKA Entertainment and Rock the Ocean. The festival began because Rock the Ocean wanted to raise awareness for ocean conservation and in turn bring monetary support to help the animals and other sea life in the nearby water.
Surprisingly it worked, with the festival getting bigger and bigger every year, Tortuga is stated to have made over 1.2 million for ocean conservation as of 2019. One of the main reasons the festival has been able to do this is that a portion of the ticket proceeds goes to charity.
As for HUKA Entertainment, they are one of the biggest music festival promoters and organizers in the country. Some of their other popular music festivals include the Beach It Music Festival, which is set to take place later in the year from June 23 to June 25 in Virginia Beach.
Tortuga Music Festival Sponsors
Tortuga Music festival sponsors include some big names in entertainment and leisure. The sponsors range from big companies to Fort Lauderdale itself.
Most of the sponsors are beverages and alcohol companies like Corona, Bacardi, Twisted Tea, Two Lane, Funky Buddha, Skyy Vodka, Owen's Craft Mixers, Beatbox Beverages, Mamitas, and Four Roses Bourbon. Corona specifically has long been tied to Florida and Floridian culture, and they often have a variety of booths at the event.
Then, there are food companies sponsoring the event like Jersey Mike's Subs and Dunkin' Donuts. Alongside this, there are miscellaneous big-name sponsors like Alelegiant, Verizon, Sunbelt Rentals, and the tourism department of Fort Lauderdale and their beaches.
