1. Join The Free-Fare Passenger Ride On A Ferry
Staten Island ferry ride is a 25-minute long free trip through New York Harbor. The New York City Department of Transportation operates the ferry route.
The watercraft runs 24 hours, seven days a week, rain or shine. Each boat departs every 15 to 20 minutes during peak hours and every half an hour on regular days.
The passenger ferry was operated in 1817 and takes around half an hour to complete a 5.2-mile route. You don't need a ticket, just arrive at the St. George Ferry Terminian at 1 Bay Street and catch the next watercraft.
During the rise, you can enjoy the excellent view of lower Manhattan along with the waves of water. However, the icing on top is the view of the Statue of Liberty. It can be the best and cheapest way to conclude the Statue of Liberty Tour.
