Tasha Cobbs Leonard Husband Kenneth Leonard Is An Award Winning Music Producer

Tasha Cobbs husband Kenneth Leonard is a Grammy-nominated Gospel music producer. Kenneth also serves as a composer.

Previously, he worked as a music director at Mt Zion Baptist Church Greenville. He is a four-time Grammy-nominated music producer for albums like Murphy's Settle Here, and We The Kingdom's Holy Water- Church Sessions, Cobbs Leonard's Heart. Passion. Pursuit.

His production and songwriting credits comprise famous songs recorded by Anthony Hamilton, William Murphy, and Tasha.

Some of Leonard's credits include Never Gave Up, Let It Fall, Release the Sound, and more. He signed an exclusive deal with Capitol CMG Publishing, a notable Christian music publisher, in 2020.

Kenneth Is Also An Entrepreneur

Kenneth is also a creator of the HISound Conference. 

The company helps musicians in various areas by facilitating them with proper mentoring, equipment, work ethic skills, and professionalism.

Likewise, Kenneth founded Stage Right Productions, LLC., in 2014. It is a backline rental company helping in music production.

He Serves As A Pastor

Besides his music career, Kenneth is also widely known for serving as a pastor at The Purpose Place, a Christian church. 

The couple launched the Church in 2019 in South Carolina. Both Tasha and Kenneth serve as a pastor.

The prime vision of launching The Purpose Place is to help families and individuals out there find their purpose in life while maintaining a relationship with God.

The music producer has different academic background than the domain he works in at the moment.

He holds an undergraduate degree of Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Leonard is an alumnus of North Carolina State University.

Tasha and Kenneth exchanged their vows in an intimate wedding ceremony on March 3, 2017.

They Met At A Worship Conference

Tasha joined dReam Center Church after she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. It was around that time when the two met at a worship conference in 2011.

Kenneth and Cobbs felt an instant click at the first meeting itself. Soon enough, they became close friends.

They started seeing each other as a couple a little over 2 years before their wedding in 2017.

Their Wedding Was A Surprise

After reuniting again around 2015 Kenneth and Tasha developed a romantic relationship.

They decided to tie the knot in 2017. Their wedding announcement came as a huge surprise for their loved ones.

The couple opted for a private ceremony attended by their immediate family and friends.

Their private wedding ceremony centered around God and 'Worship, prayer, fun, laughter, and family.' 

The singer wore a beautiful wedding gown with V-neck detailed lace work on the upper half and basic mesh on the bottom half. She also flaunted a veil attached to her head.

Kenneth sported a beige suit paired with a brown monogram tie while his boutonnière matched the bouquet on Tasha's hand.

They have shared some photos of their big day on their respective social accounts. Reportedly, they went for pre-marital counseling for a year before tying the knot.

Tasha's friends hosted a bachelorette party for her before she became a bride. All her girls wore a 'TEAM BRIDE' printed T-shirt and black jeans for the event.

Kenneth celebrates his birthday on June 21. Tasha, on the other hand, was born on July 7, 1981.

She will celebrate her 42nd birthday in 2023. Besides the birthdate, Kenneth's precise age remains unascertained.

Tasha took to her Instagram to share a brief video of a private concert by the Hamiltones on Kenny's born day in 2017.

Correspondingly, she shared a brief letter showing her gratitude for having crossed paths with him via an Instagram post.

Kenneth Leonard and his first wife have three kids. Asher Leonard is his adopted fourth child.

Tasha gracefully took on the role of mother for Kenneth's children without hesitation.

Asher Amaris Leonard

Kenneth and the Gospel singer don't have a biological child. However, the pair welcomed their son named Asher Amaris Leonard via adoption in 2022.

According to PEOPLE, they were trying to conceive for a long time. However, the pair disclosed that they faced some infertility issues. 

They tried various methods to make things work but failed in all ways. While still keeping their doors open the pair decided to go for adoption.

Asher's birth mother lived with the pair a month before the due date. The newborn came home with the Leonards after the delivery.

Tasha unveiled to have a beautiful adoption experience. Everyone in the family was very emotional and happy when they announced the news.

Their three children were also super excited about welcoming their baby brother. Asher celebrated his 1st birthday on June 22, 2022.

Nehemiah Leonard

Kenneth's son Nehemiah turned 16 on July 23, 2012.

The Gospel music producer shared a birthday post for his 16th birthday on his Instagram feed.

Symphony Leonard

Symphony graduated from her primary school and started her middle school in June 2022.

She was a part of Zeta Phi Beta's Amicette program in 2021. Kenneth took to his Instagram to share how proud he was of her for being a part of and getting certificates.
