NF Hope First Week Sales are 80,500. As such, he peaked on the Top Album Sales Chart.

As stated above, the rapper debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 equivalent album units, which helped him set a personal record for the number of streams he received in a week. The artist, his label, and his distribution partner, Virgin Music, worked for a period of six months to deliver this stellar showing.

NF New Album Hope Reviews have been mixed to negative. On the music review site, Rate Your Music, the album has a 1.55/5 rating.

As of the writing of this article, the rating comes from the votes of over 439 people, with the top review on the album's site giving it 1.5/5 stars deeming the album a product of an "artist who has nothing to prove."

In fact, much of the mainstream media has not given the album much of a look as Pitchfork, the leading publication in music has not even touched the album, after giving a 4/10 to his last work.

The only other major voice who has commented on the album is Anthony Fantano of the Needle Drop, the most popular music YouTuber on the platform. On a review he dropped on April 22, 2023, the music critic rated the album a NOT GOOD/10, where he bemoaned the record's lack of direction and focus.

NF first album Moments came out on November 29, 2010. It is his only independent record and was self-released.

The album is also his only one not to have charted on any of the Billboard charts. The record was a product of the rapper's lifelong love of rapping, which had always been an escape for him.

NF recorded his songs on a karaoke machine where he would record his instrumentals on one mic and then rap on the other. As expected, the album didn't do much in terms of sales and garnering public attention, with the rapper not even releasing his first single until a year later. 

It wouldn't be until NF's debut EP, I'm Free, that he would gain some attention, which would also include an extended version of his debut single, Alone.

No Hope is not NF last album. However, it is the most recent album the rapper has released.

Given the massive commercial success the album is currently undergoing, despite the critical backlash, the record has no chance of being the rapper's last. In fact, the rapper announced a 47-stop world tour to support the album with featured rapper Cordae as his guest on March 30.

That is not the sign of someone who is planning to leave the music industry. Though he has many detractors, NF also has one of the most dedicated fan bases in music, with his followers viewing the artist with an almost messianic eye.

The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, and the only reason it didn't top it is because it was blocked by Country superstar Morgan Wallen's One Thing at a Time.
