NariYella age is 20 years old. The singer is the second youngest contestant in The Voice 2023.

The young singer has been releasing music online since 2019, with her first Instagram post being a cover of the song Session 32 by Summer Walker. Since then, Nari has continued to post snippets of her performances and of her singing throughout the platform where she has garnered over 3K followers. 

Nari also has a little-known YouTube channel with over 107 subscribers where she has been posting music and music videos since October 15, 2021. The singer's first post was a music video for a cover of the song Leave Your Door Open by Silk Sonic.

However, she had started the channel years earlier on February 23, 2016, and has released 4 videos in total. Though she hasn't posted any of her Voice performances, people should still be on the lookout for more content given her boost in popularity.

NariYella parents are mother Tiffaney Montgomery Whipple. Tiffaney is currently married to Sublime Prince Whipple.

Born on December 1974, Tiffaney is originally from Louisville, Kentucky where she studied Biology at the University of Louisville, and then got a master's in Education at the same university.

Nari's mother spent much of her life working in Education as either a Principal or an Academic officer. However, since 2016 she has been working at Cenacle Leadership Group which, while still in the field of education, employs teachings to help in learning.

Tiffaney is well known for being a wonderful speaker and has helped many schools and educators get better in their craft. As the Chief Principal officer of Cenacle Leadership Group, much of her duties now revolve around public speaking.

NariYella is from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, but originally from Kentucky. As stated above, her mother is from Louisville.

The singer has been making music since she was 10 years old, and has performed in various settings, each of which can be seen on her Instagram page where she constantly posts pictures and videos of her performances. 

Though she is from Pennsylvania, it hasn't stopped her from traveling all over the country like New York, LA, Atlanta, and New Orleans to perform on many stages.

However, Pennsylvania is still her home and also where she goes to college as she was most recently enrolled at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she is studying in the fields of the music business, entrepreneurship, and vocal performance.

NariYella picked Chance the Rapper for her coach on The Voice. However, she was wanted by each of the four judges.

As stated above, Nari's time on the show was a showstopper as each of the judges flipped their chairs when they heard her sing. However, Chance the Rapper was the first one to make it known that he wanted her to join his team.

The judge started making snide remarks at his peers, teasing that none of them had even heard the song Nari sang as a way of coaxing her to join his team. Though other judges, namely Kelly Clarkson, took offense to Chance's statement, it was largely humorous.

In the end, Nari joined Chance's team though she could have joined anyone else's. The contestant's choice left Chance with a bright smile on his face, as he now had a full team just like everybody else.
