Kane Brown was raised by a single mother named Tabatha. Kane now has a loving family with a wife and two daughters.

The singer is famously multiracial because his mother Tabatha is Caucasian while his father is part African-American and part Cherokee. Brown's heritage was unknown to the boy until he was 7 or 8, but then he found a lot of ridicule from many abusive peers who used to regularly throw slurs at him, which was how he found out about his ethnicity.

Brown's mother raised him as a single parent due to his father having been incarcerated since 1996. The singer's childhood was extremely troubled due to his family being economically underprivileged.
