Capital Jazz Fest Maryland Lineup 2023

Capital Jazz Fest 2023 Maryland will feature thirty-one total artists over the duration of the festival. There will also be a Michael Jackson tribute.

This amazing event started its great tradition in 1993. Now, every year at the beginning of June, people get to enjoy this celebration.

Capital Jazz Fest 2023 Merriweather Post Pavilion

The venue for the Capital Jazz Fest 2023 is Merriweather Post Pavilion just like last year and the years before.

It has been the primary destination for hosting the Jazz Festival for many years in Maryland. When it started for the first time thirty years ago, the venue for the first edition of the fest was the Bull Run Regional Park in Virginia.

However, after the increase in the audience and the need for more space, the event started to be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in 2004.

Participating artists at Capital Jazz Festival 2023 include jazz and soul artists. It is one of the top Jazz music events in the country.

There will be many amazing performances at this year's event. 80-year-old George Benson is one of the highlights.

Capital Jazz Festival 2023 tickets are currently on sale. With 52 more days to go before the start of the fest, there's still time to purchase them.

Capital Jazz Fest has partnered with Ticketmaster to sell the tickets for the three-day event. If anyone wants to attend the three-day event, they will need to purchase a ticket for each day.

For the first day, the tickets range from $79 to 135$. Likewise, the second-day and third-day ticket prices from lowest to highest range from $97 to $235. The VIP tickets range from $325 for the first day and $540 for the final two days.

Aside from the music, the festival will also have a casino and other hotel events, tickets for which will cost the attendees separately. Interested parties can purchase tickets for these extra events via Etix.

Lastly, the tickets can also be purchased in person. 

Capital Jazz Festival 2023 location is in Columbia, Maryland. The fest will be held at Merriweather Post Pavilion, which is an outdoor concert venue.

Previously held in Virginia and now in Maryland, the Capital Jazz Fest was started with the aim of having a music festival around the suburbs of Washington D.C.

Having been held for three decades, the festival hosts more than 20,000 people of all age groups annually.
